I’m Alim — an 18-year-old founder and engineer in Astana who ships production software fast, sells it himself, and is building his way to San Francisco.
Software engineer at Astana Hub, and director & co-founder of a stealth IT agency alongside it — outsourced software and subscription tech support for the CIS market, $7K closed in under two weeks of launching. Before that, ex-CTO of Jobee, a teen gig-work marketplace where I raised $8k and led engineering across web and mobile.
In between, I build and launch my own things: independent ML integration for companies worth $4k, a dev tool with a few thousand installs, consumer apps that real people use. I work the whole stack end to end — design, ship, talk to users, iterate — and I’d rather have something live than perfect.
Mostly TypeScript and React/Next on the front, Rust and Python on the back, with a real bias for moving quickly. Indomitable by default, and heading west.
Got flown out to Boston for the Harvard Entrepreneurship program in July 2025. Won “Best Business Solution” and the “Best Pitch” awards at a pitch competition judged by Harvard Business School alumna. It was my first time in the US, and I liked it a lot.
When I step away from the keyboard I’m chasing a different kind of PR — over the chessboard, under a loaded barbell, and behind a guitar.
